Biomass: Red Herring or Red Hot?

Day Three of resource05 will feature a one-day conference on biomass organised by the Solar Energy Society (UK-ISES) and BRE.

Sir Ben Gill , head of the government’s Biomass Task Force, will be heading up a list of high-profile speakers from the biomass industry, who will be discussing the present state and future of building-integrated biomass heat and electricity. The programme will look at fuel production, distribution and trading, as well as building integrations issues and cost effectiveness. This will be compared with European developments where countries such as Austria , Finland and Germany have experienced a rapidly expanding biomass boiler market.
